Community Support Assistant

Position Filled — Still Accepting Applications Remote Creator Success
This position has been filled. However, we're still accepting applications for future openings. If you're a great fit, we'd love to hear from you.

About Map Academy

Map Academy is the leading service that helps creators build, launch, and scale profitable Fortnite maps. Our platform and community are rapidly growing and we are committed to ensuring every creator feels supported, understood, and empowered as they build their ideas.

About You

You are someone who genuinely enjoys being helpful. You're the person who naturally notices when someone is confused and steps in to make things clear. You don't get frustrated when people ask basic questions — instead, you see it as an opportunity to guide them and make their experience better.

You communicate clearly, confidently, and with patience. You care about creating positive energy in a community. You take pride in being reliable. You want to be an important part of building something meaningful, and you understand that consistent support is what keeps communities alive.

You are a generalist when it comes to UEFN, with moderate experience in a wide variety of topics.

What Does the Role Look Like?

You are the first point of contact for creators inside our community. Your presence directly shapes how supported our members feel every day.

  • Be active and available in our community Monday–Friday for 8 hours/day.
  • Answer questions clearly and quickly across Discord and support channels.
  • Help creators troubleshoot issues and understand how to use our systems effectively.
  • Learn the Map Academy ecosystem so you can provide accurate, confident support.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages positive discussion and collaboration.
  • Participate in playtests and community events to help members feel connected and involved.
  • Escalate issues when necessary and communicate patterns you observe.
  • Help new members feel oriented, supported, and excited to begin.
  • Represent our tone: helpful, respectful, encouraging, and solution-focused.
  • During slow periods, you may spend time on personal projects or self-development, once fully trained and confident in the support workflow.
  • Bring feedback from the community back to leadership so we can constantly improve the product.

This role is about presence, people, clarity, and keeping our community thriving.
